The Avery Dennison AP3.4 is a 203dpi desktop thermal transfer printer suitable for low-volume, on-demand shipping, transit and address labels, at the point of requirement.

Operation of the printer has been analysed and simple operation and straightforward operating controls make it easy to work with the AP 3.4.  Labels and foils can be changed very easily, as the material feed opens at the top of the unit. It is also very easy to replace print heads and print drums and no tools or special accessories are required to change the print head.  The print pressure of the print head can be varied very easily using the adjustment screw. In addition, the graphical display shows status messages and menu guidance in a user-friendly manner.

Additionally, for applications that require a printer to be operated in a 'stand-alone' manner (that is, without attachment to a PC or network host), the AP3.4 can be operated offline, with label formats and graphics stored in it's memory.
